Administrative Announcement - Acting Principal

Tuesday, April 15, 2025 - Brookwood School would like to inform our school community of an upcoming change in school administration. Principal Karen Stride-Goudie remains on leave and is not expected to return for the balance of the school year. To appropriately support students, Parkland School Division (PSD) is making a temporary change to assist Assistant Principal, Mrs. Stephanie Carrozza with school administration for the balance of the 2024-2025 school year.

We are pleased to announce that Mr. David Griffin will be stepping in as Acting Principal for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. Mr. Griffin joined PSD this year as Assistant Principal at Woodhaven Middle School and brings with him a wealth of experience as both a teacher and administrator. Students familiar with the Parkland Christian Program may already recognize Mr. Griffin from joint chapel events with Woodhaven.

With years of leadership experience, including his time as a principal at a Pre-K to Grade 8 school in Red Deer, Mr. Griffin is well-prepared to guide the Brookwood community through the rest of the school year with care, confidence, and a student-centered approach.

We look forward to a smooth transition and continued success at Brookwood School.
