Alarm at Brookwood School

April 17, 2024 - We just wanted to provide an update that led to a disruption during the early afternoon, Wednesday at Brookwood School. Spruce Grove Fire Services were dispatched to Brookwood School in response to a an alarm at approximately 1:50pm on Wednesday afternoon. 

Fire protocols were enacted immediately and effectively to ensure the safety of all of our staff and students. Thankfully, it was a heat sensor that functioned as it should and there was no fires. 

Thanks to all the students and staff, the fire department and PSD's Facilities Services for such a great response. For further information on safety procedures, please familiarize yourself with Division emergency procedures.
